The Parker at McCarrick Addition and Alterations project was a 5 phased project consisting of a roughly 70,000 square foot 3-story addition and a 60,000 square foot renovation at and existing senior healthcare and post-acute rehab center. The project design consisted of a mixture 30 VRF heat recovery systems and heat pump systems with over 300 indoor air handlers, 8 energy recovery rooftop units, along with 2 dedicated outside air units, 2 lab style exhaust fans fit to serve isolation wings.  A total of over 26,000’ of refrigeration piping was run from each condensing units on the roof to its designated branch selector box, where it was then run to its dedicated air handling unit. BIM coordination was utilized on this project to assist in coordination in existing and new spaces.
