As President and founder of D.J. Wagner Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in 1989, Drew has shown exemplary leadership and knowledge of the construction world. He is responsible for all the estimating and highly involved with a wide range of executive activities associated with long term planning, financial evaluation, leadership and customer relations. With over 27 years of experience from being an apprentice to now the CEO and President of his own company, Drew has proven his skills and it shows through all the successful projects throughout the years.
Drew is currently a National Board member for Associated Builders and Contractor (ABC), past chairman for the ABC New Jersey Chapter, Vistage member and ABC mechanical peer group member.Drew has a strong belief in giving back to the community with support of various non profit organizations such as ‘Embrace the Children’ and ‘St. John of God Community Services’ throughout the year.
V.P./ Payroll Administrator / Accounting
As originator and partner of D.J. Wagner Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., the experience of growth has provided knowledge in all areas of the financial side of the Company. As Payroll/Human Resource Administrator, Kathy is responsible for overseeing employee payroll, prevailing wage certified reporting and employee benefits. Outside of work she has held multiple volunteer leadership positions in various parent school associations including treasurer and president.
Don worked in commercial and residential real estate throughout Southern New Jersey for 15 years. From real estate, Don became the manager of the Screening Division for Wilmar Supply Co., a National Apartment Housing Supply Company out of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Don then came to D.J. Wagner Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. toward the beginning years of the company. He has been with D.J. Wagner Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. since 1999 and is an integral part of business development in daily coordination with the Sales, Marketing and Estimating departments.
Mark has 30 years of experience in the HVAC business with 10 of them in his own business. He is currently the Superintendent. Mark is exceptionally knowledgeable in all aspects of construction, which significantly adds to his ability to foresee issues early on in the construction process. Organization and precise planning gives him the ability to have the required mechanics on the job at the right time.
Mark has attended multiple manufacturer installation and service classes which adds to his elaborate HVAC resume. He is certified in all equipment installation that D.J. Wagner Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. performs.
Mark is the Chairman of the D.J. Wagner Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. safety committee. Safety has always been his highest concern and is addressed during the planning process of every job.
Project Manager/Operations Manager
Joe has been in the HVAC industry since 1980 and has held various positions from helper to president. Joe’s objective is to enhance the company he works for by bringing knowledge through his experiences and to continue growing and learning from its people.
Currently assists with the daily operation of the company. As Operations Manager, Joe oversees the other managers, assistant managers and coordinators. Aids in the development evaluation, implementation and updating of procedures resulting in the best practices for the construction department of the company and reports on the financial position of all projects to determine earned revenue, cost to complete, over/under billing and cash flow.
Joe is also one of D.J. Wagner Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.’s Project Managers who runs various projects directly using cost to complete projections, productivity analysis and scheduling, project equipment and fixture purchasing, subcontracting, pricing and negotiating change orders, man loading, revenue projections and project cash flow.
Mike has 28 years HVAC experience. He started as a technician for 5 years and then became a Forman/Superintendent for 10 years. He then changed to becoming a Project Manager for the past 13 years. Given Mike’s background he is very well versed in all aspects of commercial, industrial, and institutional installations including, equipment setting, rigging, duct work, piping and boilers.
He is currently one of D.J. Wagner Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc’s Project Managers for various jobs. He is involved from the beginning phases through the final completion. His tasks include all project scheduling, purchasing, analyzing and cost to complete projections.
Joe has been working at D.J. Wagner Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. since 1997 and has over 20 years experience in the HVAC trade from service technician to controls and airflow. Joe started in the service division in 1999 and is currently our Service Manager and Tech Support. He has completed numerous classes with various HVAC manufacturers which makes him very well rounded in the HVAC industry.
Joe spent 16 years in the electronic industry where he was responsible for set up of environmental testing of government equipment and was a calibration and repair technician of all test equipment. Joe also has experience as an independent contractor and working in the integration and test labs on NOAA Satellites.
